Be here, in this moment
In this moment lies the secret
What you are and what you will become
Last moment is not this moment
Next moment is not this moment
This moment has its own footprint
Fleeting, like a line drawn on water
Knowledge is simply available information
Wisdom is knowing what to do with it
Meditation is silencing of the mind
To gauge dimension of our very being
As children we hear that old is gold
But realize that very little of what is old is gold
You must break and sift through tons of rock
To extract from it an ounce of gold
Travel near, travel far
With open eyes, ears and mind
Appreciate beauty of everything around
Learn, fathom and feel with awe
To unlock the secrets of life
We need not travel to far out galaxies
The secret lies in the moment at hand
Only if the mind can stand still and reflect within
